Default mortice and tenon router jig

I am trying to find a router jig plan to make both mortice and tenon joints using the same jig.
I have in the back of my mind that I did see one in either a magazine or a book.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This one is by Trend in the UK, click here

It's been around for a decade or so, I've only just thrown out a 10 yo routing magazine with a review in it!

Basically you bolt on a template guide to the router baseplate and cut the tenon on the timber held in the jig. Then, remove the timber, slap in the bit for the mortice (without adjusting anything) and slip a sleeve over the template guide, still using the same cutter. The only thing you have to adjust is the depth as you will need to cut both the tenons and mortices in several passes.

This will also do double tenons, angled tenons and offsets.

You can produce your own and certainly much cheaper than the bought one.

You can of course just cut mortices in both faces and make loose tennons with rounded ends. It may not be what you want to do but it doesn't require any jigs.
