Default Router jig for levelling slabs

    Hello all

I am going to build the shop made jig for levelling slabs that is on the front page of the Fine woodworking magazine dec 2011 issue.

I cannot find a large 50mm router bit suitable for surfacing with half inch shank here in Australia.

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one?

    Thank you

Here's a 50mm and a 40mm at the foot of this page. They do mail order, not sure if they ship to Oz though. Excellent quality bits, BTW.

This is the timber that I leveled up about 10 years ago now. And in this link https://www.woodworkforums.com/f187/j...le-wip-128413/ is what it is now ie the Jarrah table top and two Jarrah cabinets

That is a very nice set up you have with the Routermaster 900, it certainly done a top job with those jarrah slabs. The jarrah dining table you made is just stunning. I hope to do similar one day with African Mahogany.
    Cheers
