Cabots Paint Can Lids
I've had trouble with the lids on the last few Cabots paint tins I've purchased. The metal on the lids these days seems way too thin, so the lids become mangled after being removed only a few times. I'm using a proper paint can opener and working my way slowly around the rim to ease the lid off. But the metal lip bends and eventually there's nothing left for the can opener to hook under. I had to use pliers to remove the lid on a recently purchased 1L can of water based Cabothane, which ruined what was left of the lid. I then had to decant the remaining half can of paint into a plastic container. Same story with 4L cans of Cabots decking oil.
Anyone else had this problem with Cabots lids recently?
