I have Neils book and it is great to have an aussie book with all the local relevent information and terminoligy, but, how do you get into the corners of chair rails with the rubber.

Also with the timber being hard blackwood is it necessary to use pumice. Is it likely to discolour the timber as I am not going to stain and want the natural timber grain to show.

If you don't get the glue off then any stain you put apply, won't sink in in that spot. I will stick out like a sore thumb.

If you're making the chairs, sand them before assemble and wipe off any glue before it has a chance to go off.
