Removing a sealer
I am in the process of building a new home and the painters have have just stained the exterior doors, which are radiata pine. Here's the catch, the stain does not look like what we picked out and the painter sealed the doors without letting us see the stain. He didn't poly the doors or anything, I think he just sealed the grain before he polys them. My question is, Is there a stripper I can use to get the wood to take stain again? I've tried sanding, but that doesn't help. Thanks for your help.
