New Finish Method
Hello,
My first time posting on this website. I hope you all are doing well.
A client has requested a finish - image of which is attached with this message. Could someone please let me know how this can be achieved. I had an idea
1) Bleach the Wood (to open up the grains) 2) Apply the Grey Stain matching the color in image 3) let it dry 4) Apply Charcoal/Black stain on to the wood and quickly wipe it off leaving the the black stain deposited in opened up grains 5) Apply Final lacquer coating.
Any other ideas are welcome !!

The timber in the photo's looks like oak.
So first things first... What timber do you propose to use for the project?
