    Default Finish on oregon top

Info wanted. I am making a couple of tops for fly tying/rod building and wanted to show out the oregon laminated tops I've put together, I thought I'd try Boiled Linseed Oil but before I do I wanted to ask if this would give a oily finish which would "grab" feathers and fur? If this could happen I will resort to using a poly finish.
    Maybe some other suggestions?

    msrampant,

Go with the BLO, it's what I use on my workbench, yes it takes a day or so to dry but then it's not a problem. It's also easy to maintain, wipe clean, mostly waterproof and just give it another wipe over and allow to dry to refresh the surface.
