Fishing on Aquarium stand
I am making a stand & hood for a 72 x 24 x24 inch Aquarium out of solid Jarrah. I have several 65 & 70mm Jarrah slabs which I am getting ripped. The stand & hood will be built "in-situ".
Could anyone suggest a finish for it. I normally finish my work with a polyurethane.
I don't fancy using this as it gives off fumes for a while, even after drying.
Any advice really appreciated.
Cheers
Col

I must say that I quite like the look of Jarrah when done with Danish Oil.

Hey Col,
I agree with wongdai, an oil type finish would be the best on something that big.
