    Default glass coat

    i made a poker set display case app 2 years ago and finished it with glass coat, was very happy with result looked really good but have just noticed that the wood seems to have lightened under the finish not sure what could have caused this any ideas would be really appreciated.

    Am expecting someone from Glass Coat to contact me regarding my goatskin/vellum issue (see thread in Restoration) but the first thing they said when I spoke with them earler was the resin reacts very badly with any kind of oil. Is that a possible clue? Just drop them a line direct - they seem open to advising and it's a pretty specific product.
