Default Help with finish for rosewood bar

    Hi guys.
I am building a bar out of a slab of rosewood I have had for about 12 years. Finally.

It has natural edges and some splits in it. Some of the smaller splits I have filled with black epoxy and the larger ones I have left as they look pretty good.

I have no idea what to use to finish it.
I know what I want the end product to look like tho.
    Hoping you guys can help

I want a high gloss finish on it that will withstand lots of punishment without scratching. I also want it to coat the natural edges nice and thick to keep it all natural.

I really have no clue on finishes as you might be able to tell.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers
