    Default Jarrah floor filler

I'm laying a new jarrah floor using utility grade timber. It has heaps of gum veins etc. looking for a clear filler to use on the flooring. It would probably have to be a trowel on product and be hard enough for a floor yet able to be sanded and finished

G,day Colin, welcome to the BB. What type of finish do you intend applying??. The type of finish may determine the type of filler you use. Two part epoxy is an excellent filler for hard wearing areas but may scratch. It can be overcoated with Poly U.

Separate the filler from the finish. Think about Timbermate for the filler, tinted a little darker than the wood - or black to be consisistent with your sap lines.

Then join in the debate about finishes!
    Cheers, Ern
