    Question Rubbing oil.

I need some advice on finishing with oil. I am using Rustin's and am finishing each coat by rubbing the oil with 400 grit paper then wiping the slurry off. Can I use a random orbital sander (TRITON OF COURSE) instead of hand pwer????????

That’s exactly what is recommended on the Organoil Interior Clear Finish Oil can for a high patina (satin) finish, they say apply enough coats to obtain full (rubbed) saturation. Then obital sand with wet oiled surface used using wet and dry paper
