Koa timber bowl
Anyone have suggestions for a finish to be applied to a 40cm turned bowl from Koa (an Hawaiian timber) which is in the possession of someone that will apply it without the bowl being rotated on a lathe. The bowl will be used as a display piece rather than in frequent use. I am unfamiliar with the nature of this timber and would appreciate any ideas from someone knowing of it.
Thanks,
Alan
