    Cool

Ken, since you are new to the forum, I think Shane's response to your question was too brief.

Shane is refering to the "bible" of wood finishing, The Polishers Handbook, written and supplied by Neil Ellis.

    http://www.ubeaut.com.au/ubhome.htm

It will answer any question you have on finishing and many more that you never ever thought of, nor are likely to.

    Question German Mantle Clock N o 2 or 3

Ooops , Sorry Guys , I missed the Canadians letter . I should scroll down more, hey. I used to get an old guy to do my cases but now he's gone & 41 yrs of repairing watches & clocks didn't prepare me for all this ( cough , cough) sanding dust . I read your comment first , Shane , & was ready to tell you to go get stuffed but the canadian Saved the day . Since I turned 60 , I seem to have got crankier . Now I'll have to go & get Neils Book . Bye for now & best regards Ken W.
