    Default Oil Based Gel Stain

    Oil based Gel stains seem to be very popular in America. They can be used on very porous woods without blotching and can even be used as a toner/glazing medium on dyed wood etc.

    Can anyone recommend a Gel stain that you can buy here in Australia that does the same job as the American equivalent?. General Finishes version seems to be the most popular in the States, I dare say it would cost an arm and leg to get that imported.
