    Default Best oil for Blackbutt?

    Hello everyone,

I have a nice Blackbutt timber frame separating my hallway from my living room which I'd like to oil.

I'd like to bring out the grain and whislt I want a natural look, would love to make it look more vibrant and richer if that makes sense.

Here's a pic of the timber at the moment, is like to avoid it being to light in colour of possible.

Osmo Poly X looks great. It makes it slightly more amber

Something to remember with oil finishes is that they will darken with time and UV exposure. So how it looks when you first apply isn't how it may end up in a few years
