Polishing BoteCote?
Ive got to the finishing the body stage on a Tenor guitar. After all the concerns about toxicity associated with Epoxies I decided to try Bote Coat. DRIVE Marine Services The basic idea is to use the epoxy as a pore filler and then usually some finish like shellac or Tru Oil etc gets put on as the final finish. But as I get the later coats on Im starting to think I can polish this stuff up to an outrageous gloss. Has anyone got any experience with this? Or should I ask in the boaties forum?
