RE: Filler for metal that can be powder coating
Dear All,
I am in the process of restoring a piece of furniture and really want to powercoat the steel legs to improve durability. Unforunately there are dents in the steel, so i was wondering if anyone has come across a metalized filler that can be powdercoated.
I have done some research and come across a product called parasolinc ALSi -12. it claims to not shrink and also you can powdercoat over it.
Apart from that product i cannot find anything else - does anyone know of other brands - plus ones i can buy in Australia?
The parasolinc seems to only come out of the US.
look forward to peoples thoughts.
cheers Jay

Probably best to ask at the powdercoaters and see what they recommend, as it might vary depending on what brands they use.
