Howdy. Almost finished a large Red Cedar medicine cabinet with Qld Maple trim around doors and freize / roses etc. It has 8 sectioned compartments inside, so it will be a bit of a pain to apply finish to. With Red Cedar being a softish timber, prone to dings and gouges, I was wondering if several coats of Danish oil would be enough to protect the surface from every-day use, or should I go the Polly route ?. Thanks for your advise & opinions guys.
