Refinishing Cutlery Canteen
Hi everyone
I would like to refinish the top of this cutlery canteen.
I’m assuming the set is from the 80s or 90s, the cutlery has never been used but sadly the top has been damaged a little.
The canteen is made of pine and guessing the top is maybe a ply or veneer as it seems fairly thin. There are a couple of deep gouges that would need to be filled.
I would like to know what sort of finish would have been used and the best way to go about repairing?
Cheers
