Sassafrass
Mate came back from Tassie with some white sassafrass(sp) Tried to use shellac on a small piece but did not retain the colour.He wants a high gloss sheen.Any ideas would be appreciated...............AL

Thanks for the advice Lignum.Will be at the Adelaide Wood Show in July and will contact the ubeaut stand.BTW terrific looking project..esp the mitres.Regards............AL

Could use dewaxed shellac, give you the same colour as being wet with water.
