    Default Sealing MDF with Bondcrete

I was recommended to use bondcrete as a sealing agent for MDF (by a certain large hardware chain).

I have tried it and it does seem to work - though I am a bit concerned as Bondcrete is not a waterproof sealer.

I am using an acrylic paint as a top coat.

Is this going to work - or is it going to cause problems at some point if any moisture is around?

    Thanks

I'm not an expert but if moisture gets in it will be the moisture that causes the problem not the bondcrete. It's water soluble so will aid moisture damage.
    Have a good one

    Default Sealing MDF

Have you tried or asked about the vinyl sealers, they are excellent barriers for mositure. they are used for kitchen cabinets and for bathroom vanities.
