Sealing a table top
Hi Friends
I've just finished building a new table and oiled it. Now I'm looking to seal it. The timber has a few imperfections in it that I liked and choose not to sand out and some couldn't be. (Holes in knots). But I want the table be flat so that not cracks can collect food and crumbs.
Is there a product that dries clear and fills the imperfections?
All help appreciated
Cheers

Hi Ian, Pictures attached to original post. This was my first attempt at a serious project so the joinery will improve over time I hope.

Your choice of polyester - Diggers 500g Cast And Embedding Resin | Bunnings Warehouse
or epoxy - Feast Watson 1m² Glass Finish | Bunnings Warehouse (despite its marketing as a finish, it'll do just as well as a clear filler)
or Pour On Gloss 250ml Starter Kit : Boatcraft Pacific, the home of wooden boat building.
