Shellawax goes dull
Hi I am having trouble with my shellawax finish. It is being applied to a small Mallee Burl box and bowl. It went on great, had three coats and glossed up well. But after 3 days they have gone satin or flat finish. Any ideas anyone

Thanks China didn't know that page was there very informative reading. Looks like I have the sanding covered OK but it may have been not dry enough or too big for the Shellawax liquid. I might get a jar of the cream and see how that goes next time. I will have to get a moisture meter to check my timber moisture content.
Once again thanks
