    Default Solid Jarrah Side Tables

    Hi guys

Well I am half way through my first Proper project.

I am making 2 sidetables for my parents out of solid jarrah.

I was wondering what a good finish would be?

As they are side tables they may place hot cups of tea or coffee on them etc

    Many thanks

You'll probably want a film finish, like a varnish. They are tough against heat and dings. Downside is hard to keep streaks and dust out of the finish.

Two brands i've been happy with is...
    minwax wipe on poly and
    feastwatson satinproof.
