    Default Spraying help

I am looking at a cheap method of spraying finishes. Predominantly lacquer and stain but I would like to remain flexible (to the extent of spraying acrylic paints and enamels if possible).
I have heard how good HVLP is compared to HP. But as I don't have a compressor (and yes I realise how cheap they are now) and don't really hava a place to store it, I am looking at the 'HVLP' Wagner W600 (bit like an updated Little Beaver) at $150 but they can't handle very thick liquids. So I was also looking at the Wagner W180 P (also about $150) as one of the 'airless' models that can do about 2100psi ... supposebly OK as it can do more than the recommended 1800psi. However I have also found (on the web ... an Oz site) a Wagner W400SE which has 4 speed settings and is more powerful again ... meant to be the ants pants especially for an airless (at about $270). As there is very little info out there WRT these models (are they too recent?) ...
Has anyone got commments (good or bad) about any of these models or even systems?

    Thanks
I did see this when i was doing a search
This was one of the only bits of info that I found and as it it not necessarily on an 'unbiased site' I wasn't sure how much to believe it.
