    Default Suitable stain to match faded Meranti on Pine

    Am making a Radiata Pine Coffee Table for a client, who requests that I stain it to look like the faded Meranti timberwork round the doors, & windows in his lounge room of his twenty-five year old holiday house.
    All helpful suggestions and ideas greatly appreciated.

    If you'll excuse the slightly facetious answer - leave it outside for - oh... 25 years!

    But more seriously have you looked at TTIT's thread - want-old-weatherboard-look-help.

    There are several ideas in there that might help.
