Sun damage ?
This is the leg of an oak table I was wondering if this is sun damage or what. And what would you do to go about repairing it if it needs to be repaired. If more information is needed please ask.

Can't see what I would think to be bleaching from the sun. Do you mean the line that is at right angle to the axis? Is it a join line, as the grain seems disprupted there.

Yes that line. But I don't believe it is a join line because it only has that line on one side of the leg. I am sure it is not where the wood is joined.
