    Question Who Supplies sanding pads

Finding it very hard to find 125mm Pads for my orbital sander in the higher grits ie. 600-1200.Spoke to a company on the Gold Coast he advised that I could only buy 100 pads at a time in each grit at a cost of $100 !! He also advised me that the higher grits are not used much anymore!!
So does anybody know where I can obtain these type pads in aluminium oxide?

    Question

Are you after discs? or just the sheets? An orbital sander can take either, depending....

Your best bet is to go to an automotive re-finishing supplies company. If anywhere is going to have what you need or somthing similar it will be them. They will also usually sell them individually but obviously at a higher rate. Buying by the box might sound expensive, but in the long run it saves you quite a few $$$$. Although some places don't discount by the box, it pays to check cause some salespeople are out to take the average Joe for all they can. Trust me, they even try it on regular clients, I know...

    Thumbs up

In Melbourne, and I am sure they would mail order, are Gills Tools (up to 2000) Beenatree and I think Jim Carrol would oblige.

Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
