Terrible Orange Peel Finish
Hey guys,
I am finishing a jarrah table and after applying the second coat of Cabots Satin Polyurethane, there is a horrible orange peel effect across most surfaces. Can this be a result of:
1 - Applying second coat too soon after first
2 - Quite cool humid ambient conditions
3 - applying a coat too thick, or
4 - contaminent in the brush from previous use?
I am going to have to rub it all back again and really want to know how to prevent this occurring again.
Any advice is appreciated.
Cheers,
Danny

Could be because of any of the 4 points, in isolation or combination. Points 1 and 2 are pretty much the same.
