thinning sintetic paint

hello,

I´am painting a big door 1,2m X 2.4m with sintetic white paint with a wagner w660 hvlp and having some troubles. I thinned my paint by 20% and get orange peel then I thinned it more like 30% and still hade orange peel than I thinned it more than 50% and the paint whas like water but it whas atomasing verry well and it leaved a perfect wet glass look whithout orange peel but when the paint whas draying there whas some bubble formation. maybey because I prayed it 2 times, one in vertical direction and the other in horizontal, so the layer whas to thick.

So what can I do? use a thinner with quick evaporation time? Can i thin paint more than 50% and aplay 3 thin coates?

Applying two coats in quick succession is NOT a good idea, especially when one coat goes one way, and the other goes across !!! Been there,- made that mistake myself.
Looked good till the the paint dried, then," %*@%^, ( a few choice descriptive words said !!! )
Best idea is to spray a thin coat, don't matter if it comes up patchy, allow to dry, then recoat as necessary.
Synthethic paints,- You can thin up to about 50% - 60% and still get a reasonable job at the end of the project. Also depends on the type of spray gun set-up, as have used a Low-Pressure Gun myself and only thinned the Synthetic Paint down by about 30% without any problems, same concept works with water-based acrylics too,- only remember to use water as the thinner, otherwise paint goes all," Yukky, " !!!!
( naturally one has to have an audiece looking one when one does something stupid like that
