    Default Timbermate straight from container?

Can you apply Timbermate straight from the container, or must it be mixed with water to harden?

Straight from the container. If it dries out you can soften it with water.

If you need to (eg. either it has dried out or you want to thin it to a paste for use as a grain filler) be careful adding water... it can increase shrinkage if you add to much. Be stingy, best to only moisten a small amount at a time.

I prefer to use PVA instead of water, but the same caveats apply.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

To soften it, better to put it in the microwave.
    Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.
