    Default Wenge

I've seen a stain called 'wenge' but can't seem to find it as a product.
Any help, advice would be much appreciated.

Well, at the risk of belabouring the obvious, there is a well-known timber called Wenge, generally naturally blackish in colour.

    I think Africa sells it.

Running short on stock though. Consider light brown paint then coated with very dark brown paint then run a comb over it while the top coat is still wet. maybe.

I realise there is a Wenge timber, just like there's Jarrah, walnut, etc
There are also stains to match these colours.
I'm after a stain, not the timber.

    Hi Blade Runner,

I have seriously never seen Wenge stain, I imagine it would be hard to replicate because of the huge difference in colours that are in it. That's why I suggested the paint.. <TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="98%"><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=2>

    Thanks for your help.
I've been having an eachway bet by posting the same question in the renovate forum painting section.

    I was given this link.
