    Default white ringson french polished table

    answer needed for a friend of mine.she has a beaurtiful french polished table which has s few white ring marks on it.any ideas how to get them off.all help greatly welcomed.

    Sounds like water rings.
    When I get them in restoration work I gently wave a heat gun over them and they disappear. Gotta be careful though as to much heat...and your friendship could disappear also!

    And you get to repolish the table.

    But if done gently with quick passes should be OK.

    long and slow but works.few drops of olive oil on the rings and using your finger rub over the rings until they disappear. GL billym

    The best way to stop those rings re-appearing is to buy some square glasses.

    thanks fot the replies.i tried the olive oil without succsess.well maybe it would have worked if i put a lot more time in,now i will see if the lady will buy some reviver,which i will gladly take home when we try it thanks once again.
