Thanks Guys,
Rob, the tune is the intro to Classical Gas by Mason Williams. It's a great piece of music and there's plenty of brilliant versions to be found on youtube.

Steve, just wanted to let you know I like your guitar, you must be really proud of the way it turned out. I hope you plan on building another, someone with your talent should build more than one. I told you I'd let you know about the fish glue and so far I'm really liking it. The stuff I got is high tack fish glue by Norland and is formulated for luthiery. It behaves a lot like hide glue in that it shrinks as it cures and is almost as hard after curing. It's actually formulated so it's not as brittle as hide glue. It has a tenacious grip after curing and can be reactivated with water. I plan to start using it for everything on the guitar except laminations. It would be ideal for bindings as you have plenty of time to work, the only downside is the 12 hour clamp time, but I can live with that.Mike

Thanks Mike,
Good to see you back here and to hear that you've been building. Definitely plan on making more guitars, got a bit of a furniture project that I'd been promising for some time to complete before I can start No. 2.
The fish glue sounds good, will see if I can locate some in Australia and give it a test. I've never tried hide glue so I'd only be comparing it to the Titebond.
