    Default 1st Amp Cab build - Timber suppliers in Melbourne

    Hey all
    I'm coming to Melbourne next week and wondering if those of you that have built
    your own cabs could recommend any local timber suppliers that carry wide boards (around 300mm)
    and will cut to size (I will need to throw them in the boot for the long trip home)
    We have limited suppliers here in Adelaide and they can be quite pricey at times

    G'day Dayvo,

    What type of timber?


    Head down to Australian Furniture Supplies in South Melbourne, they will most likely dress your timber on spot. Or Mathew's timber in the eastern suburbs, they wont dress your timber.

    Dayvo, let me know how you go. I am in NE subs of Adelaide and the only place I know is Otto's for specialist wood or occasionally the scrap yard on Hanson Rd.

    Be interested to find out if it's better in Melb based on your experience as I go there every now and then.
