    Default 1st Bass build

    This our first go.
    We made lots of mistakes along the way.
    Lots of fix up's too.
    It has an oiled and waxed finish
    Body: Fijian Maple,RockMaple,PurpleHeart,Bloodwood.
    Neck: Rock Maple,Purple Heart, Bloodwood
    Fretboard: Gigee

    Absolutely amazing - incredible effort for a first build! Was this made from a plan, or did you just go nuts on some timber
    I like the shape of it - reminds me of a Warwick bass, and that's far from a bad thing!

    Have to make a 5string bass of my own somewhere down the track... urgh, so many ideas in mind, so little workspace and time!

    The shape is a mixture of various designs, but still pretty much our own.
    I suppose it is a bit like a Warwick, but without the dunny roll holder top horn.

    Do Australian`s bleed sawdust when you get cut, woodworking seems to come naturally to you all. Nice piece of work,especially for your first build, I don`t see any mistakes so you must be something of a David Copperfield because they disappeared.Mike

    Us Aussies aren't too shabby when it comes to under-arm bowling too.
