    Default My 2nd uke

    Hello everyone.
    I finished my second ukulele a while ago. Here are a few pics.

    Huon Pine top
    Tiger Myrtle back and sides
    Blackwood neck
    Red Mulga fretboard, bridge and headstock veneer
    Myrtle burl rosette

    Since the uke is made mainly of Tasmanian timbers and includes Tiger myrtle, I thought I should have a theme. No, not a two headed uke; a Tasmanian Tiger Tenor uke.

    Beautiful mate! Really good attention to detail.
    I saw some beautiful ukes while in hawaii in march. Of course they were all koa. Very very classy builders over there!
