Great thread Mark. I am getting ready to laminate American Oak Neck and Pillar so your comments are very useful. I will run carbon fibre as you did. Rick Kemper (USA) has some useful comments regarding Necks. (Google Search his name + Harp) He uses splines and also carbon fibre on the underside of the Neck. He is a Structural Engineer if I am correct and has some in depth structural analysis of Harps. Worth reading Chapter 8 of his Structural analysis of the Folk Harp.
Trust your harp is now well and truly settled in and many thanks for an in depth thread.
