4 string cherry / sapwood hard maple bass
Wild Black Cherry and non figured sapwood Hard Maple, neck through, solid body, flat top, 4 string, hand rubbed oil finshed, bass guitar. With stereo and mono jacks and overwound mini humbucker pickups.
Her owner has nick named her Autumn because of her bright tones.
Autumn has a really cool vintage vibe. And a lot of versatility being able to play each pickup through its own head (stereo). Each pickup has its own volume and tone pots and can be switched on or off or ganged in Mono which adds to her versatility.

Very pretty Jeff!
What is the effect of over winding a pickup? Improves the attack? What is the compromise?"We must never become callous. When we experience the conflicts ever more deeply we are living in truth. The quiet conscience is an invention of the devil." - Albert Schweizer

Yeah the best way I can describe it is it has a lot more punch and a just a slight hint of distortion at full volume. Its not what i would call warm but more sharp and punchy, which is what then owner was looking for. Its running 250k pots, .047uf caps and rotosound stainless strings. which seems to be the right combo for the pickups.
