I was using a manual hand winder. Thats right, 1, 2, 3, 4,,,,,, 645, 646, 647, Ok so i did lots of hundred and mark off each 500 on a bit of paper. VERY sloooooow, but i end up with some cool pups. Plus I can do some fancy cross over winds and stuff.
I can even do half a bobbin in one dirction, the the other half in the opposite direction. I havent tried that yet but am wondering if that would make for a "self humbucking" single coil? Anyone know?

Now ... back to the real issue ... I know nothing about making pickups ...
... but didn't black labb do some a while back?? Or did I imagine that??

what the hell is a senior member......
and why am i one... lol
i thought you were making fun of dadovfor's age
hmmm.....
wanna know what happens when you give andrew an idea, and a broken jigsaw?
do ya?
lol
this is what happens
shall i patent it? lol
just have to screw around with the electrics some more and figure out how to slow it down a bit more,
i threw a stereo jack in it so i can use my foot pedal to turn it on and off
if it can wind without breaks, then great,
if i have to screw around with it more and slow it down to produce break free winds,
then so be it
no room for breaks and solders in my coils.....
and ill be right to go
