    Default archtop wiring

Hi..I hope this hasn't been done to death..but, how does one install the pots jack & switch in an archtop eg ES 335 where no control cavity is used.

OK they go in through the 'F' holes....but...er...how is it done?

Either surgical tubing through the holes or fish dental floss through there. Also a good way when replacing pots etc to keep track of their original destination.

    STEWMAC.COM : Issue 94, Fishing a volume control out of a semi-hollowbody for soldering.

This guys using elastic bands to draw the conrols out of the body. . . same process.

Yep...dental floss or string fed through the pot/switch holes into cavity and out through F holes. Tie on pot/switch and pull 'em back through the F hole and pot/switch hole.
