P.M in for you, Ralph.
These bridges are a little bigger than any other wraparound with Tuno saddles and all,
but they really are impressive to use. There's also spring clips on the underside of the bridge on either side to accept the posts and keep them tighter. You can also lock off your height of your post once set using an allen key.
I'll continue to buy these and use them when asked to, and probably use them on a few
spec. builds as well. ( Worth considering these, G)

It all depends on what floats your boat, Tim.
I still reckon there is no particular 'magic' bridge style that rules them all, as they're made to function in different ways.
Each bridge style has a different method of mounting, using different materials (Brass, Alloy, Cast, steel, compounds.......)which in turn gives you a slightly different feel and a slight change in sound .
What's more important is that you decide to use a quality, well manufactured bridge and install it properly so you maximise it's abilities.
(Although I do like my stringthru's)

I couldnt agree with you more Stu . I will be using a Gotoh 510 wrap around bridge as well on my next build which is 3/4 done.
I must say that the build quailty of this bridge is second to none. The jap stuff is allways
top quality .
I just wish they would slim it down a bit , make it more compact . I dont think it needs to be so bulky.

yeah, i agree Stu, the gotoh 510 are nice bridges, i do admit that i like the idea of a string thru more than the actual look of one. i still havent decided 100% on string thru, but i think i may have found my solution with the gotoh 510, nice suggestion mate.

You'll get there in the end, G.
Here's a front on pic. of the slightly eccentric shaped body.
I've got this body shape in a single-cut also.

It looks sensational, again.
The eccentric shaping works well.
Lovely colouring on the top. It shows off your shaping very well.Scally

Thanks for the comments gents.
Just a heads-up for you,
I've re-designed another website with more Gallery and In progress pics, and is accessible using .com or .com .au. prefixes.
The other site provider turned out to be too constrictive, so I had to jump ship and write up a completely new website, albeit with the same flavour but more info.
The link below will get you there, in the meantime....................................

I noticed that that guitar I just posted looks a bit eccentric but it is just the angle of the pic combined with the contour, the lower bought is in fact symetrical.
I have to say that I like the Gotoh 510 range too and think that as it is becoming popular the other big players will start to try to get in on that bit of the market so we could see some nice stuff coming up in the future.
Another bit of design that impresses me big time is the double contour of yours Stu, so don't be surprised if you see echos of it in something of mine in the future. Although I am a bit of a Fender fan my first electric was a Ibanez glued neck Les Paul copy from 1980 (lawsuit replica) it was stolen but I still have the case and need to make something to fit it. I have some nice light figured tassie oak that would make a tidy drop top for that sort of guitar.
You will get there Andrew if you keep it up.
