Gee I thought I was the only one who could see the bouncing cake, or did some one accidentally log into my account OR maybe you blokes just like siting at your PC waiting for some one's age counter to tick over LOL.
Thank you all kindly.<style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line- 120%; }</style> Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. Abert_Einstein.

It's Finished
Hi to all, I finaly finished the Les Paul last night, Ralph helped me wire it up and set the iteration and action.
I did not make the pickup bobbins, I ended up buying kits from StewMacs and winding my own PAF style Humbies.
I used a Sidewinder winding machine that Ralph bought and it did a great job.
Ralph gave it a damn good hammering last night and I am more than pleased with the quality of the sound and it has wonderful sustain, basically I think it just sounds like a 59 Les Paul with PAF's,............I think.
Thanks for the pick guard Oz
I consider this thread finally concluded following any comments and I'd like to thank all concerned for the assistance given to me and to the people whom have contributed to make this forum what it is.
Kindest regards to all
