Hello to all, time to add some stuff, but first thanks for having me over last night Ralph I really enjoyed myself.

Hey Andrew, I thought you might find that shave unusual, I don't think it's adjustable but then I dont know anything about spoke shave.

Today I made templates for the top carve, and roughed out the carve with my favorite tool

I also shaved down the veneer board from 10 mm to 3mm for the headstock.

Now I think I might have a little Nana nap, I'm really tired.

    kind regards

    Wal

Gday to all, yesterday I smoothed out the top carve just needs some final shaping.

Now I know what is meant by having Popeye arms LOL.

    Here is a pic.

    regards

Thanks mate, the carve knocked a lot of weight off the body so it's not nearly as heavy as I thought it would be.

    Looking really good Wal

Did you say how thick your top cap is? I see on another thread that Perry Ormsby has a bunch of figured and spalted caps which look tempting!

    Looks great Wal.
I saw those tops too dad. They look unreal. If I wasnt already building my 7, i would prob buy some off him and do a PRS...
Pointless putting them on my current build but

Grab 'em for a future build ... and make sure you tell Perry that I sent you.

Perry will say "who the hell is Dadovfor?!?" but it will be good for a laugh
