R3 - Coming in wayyy late on this one but... smokin' Good lookin stuff. Ummm, what are the dots for on the fingerboard? heh

Never thought of going zero radius on a solid-body (we build mostly Classics and Flamencos) but if it is on a chicken-pickin piece or an 80s-shred model bet you can bend the skinny one up over the top, ay?

Nice aesthetic, truly. Send some of that good Perth weather you got down our way, ay? 10 wet ones in a row and half the clothes blew off the line and are somewhere down west we guess.

    lol Riggsy

the weather has turned sour lately (last few days) and me hobby has stopped

very windy here too....and the rain of course...

hoping it goes away so i can get on wiv it...

cheers for the compliments on the tulip neck

yes ...i love this particular look as it is not common to find light-coloured rosewood (let alone wood) that can be left unfinished

i will have to see if it resists stains and dirt the way i think it oughta but there is nuthin like reality to tell the tale

the dots are abalone gotten from vietnam via ebay

zero radius allows the bends to go wherever it wants to go without choking out ...i do love bending thmem strings with a comfort level of a low action

moreover it has helped my technique somewhat ...makes it more precise somewht but it could be a placebo effect heh
    Looking for

    1. fiddleback mulga - 1" thick, 3"wide, 26" long

PM if you have for sale!
