    As I posted here not long ago I have a lovely tassie oak neck blank, it was scarfed at the time but the scarf was off and uncomfortable so I cut it off and glued on a flat headstock, did the shaping this afternoon, will probably go with a strat style body probably bound with a maple fingerboard.

    The headstock on the scarfed neck was too short and the joint was too far back behind the nut. It just didn't look or feel right, so I decided to cut it off
