Your doing a really nice job there floody.
I dont know much about RG's.. Is the neck angled at all ?
Are you using a licenced Floyd trem ?
Cheers

No angle on the neck Fletch.
I think wit a non recessed floyd it may need an angle but not when its recessed like ive done it.
The bridge says licensed under floyd rose on it but I bought it off ebay so who knows lol.
Itll do the job

Few more pics..Work has been slow on this..Im waiting for my tuners to come and also working on a prs for my brother..
Nice SS frets..Pain in the *$&# to work with on ur hands and tools!
Some light beveling to the body..Roughed in the belly carve too..Once the neck is glued in, ill carve away the heel transition
Also got my neck jig nearly finished..Just gotta look into the dial indicators and set the straps up.
Might post some pics later of the prs im building for my brother

Hahaha ahh...maybe once mine is finished lol.
Pretty easy to make. Very cheap too. Pics dont show it but holes are drilled in the bench lining up with the rods so they go through the top. Ive just gotta make a raised top to account for angled headstocks..and add the tie downs and jack at the headstock. all in good time lol.
The SS frets look amazing and would prob take a REAL long time to wear down...but theyre so bloody tough!! My hands were aching after cutting them all..havent even trimmed them yet, That was with my good stewmac nippers too..it is worth it but..They look so good

i told you that stuff would kill your hands hahaha
its a pain in the @$$ but its worth it in the end....
here some pics of the S i refretted...
i went and bought a $20 swiss file just to do the ends... worked great haha
alot of wet & dry and steel wool later and you have some awesome looking and feeling frets....
now finish it floody

Yea they look sweet..Just annoying to work with lol. Ive got enuf here for anutha neck so Ill see how i go wit that. I might use it to refret my ibanez actually.
I cant really do anymore until i get my tuners..I ordered them 2 weeks ago and theyre still not here!! Once i get them but, I just gotta glue the neck in and start sanding it for finish..Just gonna go with tung oil on this..Im still deciding if I wanna grain fill..I played a mahogany neck a few weeks back that was just oiled without grainfill and I loved the look and feel of the grain showing heaps..
