Jump in Manny and at least have a go at building the body. You don't need too many tools for that and you'll get all the guidance you could possibly need from the guys here.

The neck is a slightly different proposition given that you'd need to get a hold of some specific tools. But there'd be support there too if you decideded to do that as well.

Welcome aboard ... it's always good to have new builds and builders to keep breathing life into this little community.

    Hi Manny,

I'll second Dadov's comments regarding the body. It's not that hard, you can get away with basic tools and the real secret (don't tell anyone...) is that sandpaper hides a multitude of sins... and mistakes.... Plus it's so rewarding starting with a piece of solid timber you've had to search for and watching it taking shape and turning into something beautiful.

Go on! Dive in! You WILL surprise yourself!

    Cheers,

    Yoz
