Hi David, have a look at guitaraust.com.au and luthierssupplies.com.au there you will find kits to build a guitar whether it be acoustic or electric. After that it is just a matter of deciding which one to build.

Depends on what you want to build, a quick google of "Guitar Kit" brought about 20 useful hits not counting the auction site. The main brand seems to be Saga.

Thanks Alby, I bought a set of plans from Luthiers Supplies, the plans come complete with parts list and to scale drawing and what not.. I searched many things Sebastiaan, that search seemed obvious but not one I had tried, I found many interesting kits, and yes, quiet a few from Saga, which seem to be pretty good, actually looking at one in particular at the moment.
